Mango Lassi

The time when you come in home from the scorching heat in this summer, all you would need is to gulp down something cold, refreshing and filling. This is one absolute delight for such occasions.





Summers can't pass by without us indulging in these mangoes. So how about enjoying some mangoes in the form of mango lassi. Lassi and Mangoes are always our favorite. So this is just like 2 in 1 drink for us. 





Ingredients
  1. 2 medium sized ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
  2. A pinch of saffron 
  3. 4-5 tbsp of sugar 
  4. 2 cups of cold and thick yogurt
  5. 3-4 ice cubes

Method
  • In a blender, add the mangoes, saffron and sugar. Blend them together to form a puree.
  • Add the thick yogurt and ice cubes to it. Blend it again, untill everything gets incorporated well.
  • Pour it into serving glass and serve cold.

Tips
  1. You could add some cardamom powder for additional flavors. 
  2. You could avoid sugar and use honey as sweetening agent.
